Composite Resin (White) Fillings and Bonding
WHITE COMPOSITE RESIN
Fillings and Bonding
A composite (tooth colored) filling is used to repair a tooth that has a moderate sized cavity, a small crack, or a chip. After being numbed, the decayed or affected portion of the tooth will be removed and then replaced with the composite filling.
Because they are tooth colored and can bond to the tooth in a way many other materials cannot, they are ideal for repairing small chips at the corners and top edges of front. The composite filling or bonding will be precisely placed, shaped, and polished, restoring the tooth to its original shape and function. Good oral hygiene practices, eating habits, and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your fillings, newer and older.
