Invisalign clear braces (aligners) are clear plastic trays that move your teeth into proper position while you wear them. Aligner trays are switched out every week or two as they straighten the teeth and begin to feel less tight.

A tooth should always be touching its neighbor, but sometimes gaps or spacing exist. With Invisalign, gaps can be closed, giving you the beautiful smile you deserve!

This is the biggest issue we tend to see. Teeth can slowly shift forward with time, making the lower front teeth push together. Crowding can also be caused by not wearing a retainer after comprehensive orthodontics (full braces) when teeth slowly shift back into their original crooked position. Invisalign GO! (Accelerated Invisalign) is perfect for correcting mild to moderate lower front teeth crowding.

Invisalign can fix front teeth that stick out too far past the bottom teeth or their neighbors to the side.

Invisalign aligners can widen upper and lower dental arches, improving the aesthetics of a smile as well as often helping with snoring and breathing problems that can come with jaws that are too narrow.

While there are many ways to straighten your teeth, Invisalign offers the most reliable and time tested approach. For all ages, Invisalign offers minimal interference with daily life and can have a significant positive impact on how you look and feel about yourself.

The process of straightening your teeth at Camarillo Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is easy. First we take photos of you and of your mouth and then we take an upper and lower mold of your teeth. In a couple of weeks, your first set of custom trays will be ready! You will return to the office every 1-3 weeks for new trays that will slowly but surely get your teeth looking nice and straight.

The most common question we hear!  The good news is that the cost of Invisalign treatment with us is usually less expensive than conventional braces. Depending on the severity of the changes that need to be made, the cost is between $2500 and $5500.

Some insurances cover Invisalign just as they would other orthodontic treatments like braces. When they do, it is usually about $1000-$1500 of the treatment costs.

While you should make sure of the details of your plan with your employer, orthodontics (including Invisalign) is usually allowed under most FSA plans.
